My employment at CEOGC, a non-profit organization, has provided me with opportunities to work with Adult Education Learners, a diverse population. It has been my experience that the needs of today’s changing student population (including non-traditional students) are very different from the needs of traditional students. Therefore, it is vital for Adult Education Instructors, like myself, to become increasingly aware of the unique needs of these students. Individuals that seek higher education opportunities need a variety of resources. My goal is to add to previous knowledge and experience by contributing to an institution and/or academic program that not only recognizes and supports adult learning strategies but also enhances outcomes that benefit students who integrate into higher education institutions like Baldwin Wallace College. My goal is to obtain a Masters Degree in Leadership in Higher Education (MAED) which will allow me to integrate community services and resources into higher learning institutions like, colleges and universities to better assist students.
