Commas

by Tiffany
(Portland, Oregon USA)

i need help to study for a writting test i have to take for college, i have most trouble with commas and writing style. Can you help?

Editor:

In addition to reading the pages on this website (click on the Punctuation tab, on the Navigation Bar), the best advice I can give is to visit your school library and read Eats, Shoots and Leaves by Lynne Truss.

For a very good (and very brief) introduction to good writing style, look for The Elements of Style by William Strunk Jr. and E. B. White while you're in the library.
