Quotations? Underlining?

by Colette
(Monroe, NC USA)

When writing a hand-written report about a famous person and you are listing the names of plays, movies and TV shows, how should each of these be written? I mean, should they be underlined, in quotations or just capitalized? Again it is a hand-written report.

Editor

The names of plays, movies and TV shows should be underlined and have the words capitalized.

In a handwritten report you can underline the words that would be put in italics when using a word processor.
