The Day I Gain Something Precious

Original Text: The Day I Gain Something Precious

I have three daughters Lakiya ,Portia and Taylor. All three of them when they were born was precious to me but I guess it would be the day my first daughter was born thirty-five years ago . I had a hard time getting pregnant I tried for three years and it didn’t happen ,when I did get pregnant it was the happiest day of my life I had a great husband that was there all through my pregnancy and I had a long but great nine months of pregnancy .
The day that I went into labor my sisters and brother was over and we were playing cards . We had been playing cards for about an hour when my water broke and everyone was more excited than me (running around jumping ,running) I just sat there and kept playing cards until the contractions got so bad I could not take it . When we got to the hospital it seemed like I was in labor forever twenty-six hours . It seemed I could not have the baby the regular way I had to have a c-section . It was the worst pain I have ever felt but when she came out she was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen
She had long beautiful hair jet black and looked like a little Indian baby she was the most precious thing I have ever seen and I had to have her with me twenty four hours a day.
All my children are precious to me and special to me I have gone through this three times and love my children with all my heart but there is nothing like the first one and you see that precious face for the first time anyways thatch the day I gain something precious.

Revised Text: The Day I Gained Something Precious

I have three daughters; Lakiya, Portia and Taylor. All three of them were precious to me when they were born, but I guess the most precious day would be when my first daughter was born thirty-five years ago.

I had a hard time getting pregnant. I tried for three years and it didn’t happen. When I did get pregnant, it was the happiest day of my life. I had a great husband who was there all through my pregnancy and I had a long, but great, nine months of pregnancy.

The day I went into labor, my sisters and brother were over and we were playing cards. We had been playing for about an hour when my water broke and everyone was more excited than me (running around and jumping). I just sat there and kept playing cards until the contractions got so bad I couldn't take it.

When we got to the hospital, it seemed like I was in labor forever (twenty-six hours). It seemed I could not have the baby the regular way, I had to have a c-section. It was the worst pain I have ever felt, but when she came out she was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. She had long, beautiful, jet black hair and looked like a little Indian baby. She was the most precious thing I have ever seen, and I had to have her with me twenty four hours a day.

All my children are precious and special to me. I have gone through this three times and love my children with all my heart, but there is nothing like the first one, seeing that precious face for the first time. Anyway, that was the day I gained something precious.
