Charlie enters the park but is surprised, he was sure that he had seen more children there just a moment ago. Two was good enough for there would be more toys to share.

Although their accurate camouflage, they sensed that the smallest of them might have noticed their presence. They would have to be more cautious. Slowly they moved back into the woods. Maybe the worm-blooded would leave with their lights and ways of transportation later on. The enticement device would have to be used on one of the weakest of them.
As they probed the worm-blooded, they concluded that only the taller ones could not see their camouflage, for the nervous system in youths activates a natural uncloaking device in the brain witch you lose during growth procedures in life. Now they new, that the smaller beings were the young and weak.

The nervous system in the younger ones activates a natural uncloaking device in the brain, which is lost later in life, but now they knew that the smaller beings were the young and weak.
